We took Lucy to Gilcrease Orchards this past Saturday with my cousins to do some pumpkin patching. She really had a great time. They had a hay maze which she fell in love with, and although at first she was a little hesitant, when we went back to it, she told daddy "stay here, don't follow me." She picked out her pumpkin, and also one for her little unborn brother. Matt and I also picked out our pumpkins. Then to our surprise, our neighbors invited us to their "Annual Pumpkin Carving" that they do, and so next Saturday we will set up a table out in front of the house and carve pumpkins with the rest of the kids. I think it will be pretty fun.
Also, if you haven't been to Gilcrease yet, you should check it out. It is one of the last orchards in Las Vegas (which is weird we even have one) but you can take your car and drive through, or just park and walk through. Besides pumpkins they also have a variety of crops you can pick and purchase, and don't forget to get their apple cider. It is the best cider ever.
So here are some pictures of the infamous pumpkin patching.
