Weekly Sketch

In my attempts to get some scrapbooking done, I am going to try my hardest to keep up with these weekly sketches.  This week from Sketchy Thursdays we have the following:

And my interpretation:

I used this new stuff that I got in a goodie bag at my local scrapbooking store called Art-C. It's a glitter mist spray that I used to "age" the background page.  As much as I like the look of the spray, I was a little mad at it because it curled my paper.  Maybe I sprayed to much at once and it got to moist?  I don't know, but I will continue to play around with it to see what new stuff I can do.

I didn't win my last challenge [booooo!!!] but I am hopeful that if I keep entering, eventually I will win. At least I will stay optimistic.

  1. Your LO came out cute! Sometimes over-misting will curl the paper a bit, especially if you're not using a thick cardstock. When I have that problem I turn the layout over and put something heavy on top of it to get it to lay back flat. Hope that helps! Thanks for playing along with Sketchy Thursdays :)
