Last night Matt and I celebrated our anniversary by going to Texas de Brazil for dinner. We stuffed ourselves silly with some of the most amazing food I have ever had. It's a bit pricey but if you sign up for their newsletters, you get a BOGO coupon on your birthday and on your anniversary, so Matt and I are able to go 3 times a year for half the price.
After dinner, we dropped our truck off at a local repair shop to get the brakes fixed. I figure that I would like to celebrate another year of marriage with my hubs so getting the brakes fixed would be nice. This morning, Matt took the car to work, leaving Lucy and me stuck at home all day. This is not a bad thing considering it keeps us from spending money. At least that is what Matt thinks. I still have the internet and a debit card haha!
So this morning Lucy comes into my room to wake me up. Here is our conversation:
Lucy: Mommy, your car is lost
Me: What do you mean?
Lucy: your car...is lost.
Me: Honey, I don't follow. What do you mean my car is lost?
Lucy: Your car is gone. Daddy is at work, and your car is gone, it's lost.
Me: (I FINALLY get it in my sleepy state) Oh honey, daddy has my car today.
Lucy: Where is daddy's truck?
Me: Getting fixed.
Lucy: And daddy has your car?
Me: Yup. It's not lost.
Lucy: oh good.
