Day 13: Pull my...necklace

If you have ever been a nursing mom, you might know how I feel when I say I am tired of getting beat up during feeding time.  I have bruises and scratches all over my chest from being pinched and clawed at.  I even get fishhooked a time or two.  A few other moms that I talked to told me about some nursing necklaces that they have used.  Basically it's just a necklace that you wear so that the baby has a distraction, something to play with.  I found some online, but I wasn't willing to pay more than $5 and I knew I could make it for FAR less than that.  And I did.  I actually made three for just over $5.

They aren't much, but already in the 10 minutes I was wearing it tonight, I wasn't clawed at, punched, slapped, or scratched.  And when he was done eating, he chewed on the stone bead.  I am really excited about it and honestly, cannot wait to make more.

Please excuse the drool mark on my shirt.  Dexter drooled everywhere tonight.

The two others that I made for two of my friends.
