The weather has still be crazy nice here in Seattle, which is silly seeing as Vegas has had more rain than we have all summer. I think we brought the drought with us. In hopes to store up enough vitamin D to get us through the winter, we have been spending a lot of time outside. This past weekend, we decided to have some fun with chalk and came up with these pictures. I was inspired (aren't I always inspired by *something*) by a pin I had seen on Pinterest (as usual). I didn't however actually repin the pin that inspired me, because really, I had no plans in ever doing it myself. But look at this, we ended up doing it anyway.
They aren't as good as the ones I saw on Pinterest, but we had a blast doing it and really that is all that matters. When we finally finished the tree and swing picture, Lucy insisted that I draw a ladder and a tree house and a slide, and no joke, that kid played for almost an hour, running up the ladder, jumping in her tree house and sliding down the slide, and then starting all over again. I am constantly amazed at the simplest thing that keep her entertained.
Lucy swinging from the tree is perfect!! I did pin this idea and need to do it!!
