Day 6's creation was a mixture of a few different things I have found. I mentioned a few days ago that I was interested in making wooden pumpkins. After looking around online and finding this site and this site, I went and took my own spin. When I was done making just the pumpkins, I realized that they looked kind of plain so I cut out some letters on the cricut and mod podged them on. The stems are painted corks that we had laying around and I just nailed them in.
This project, cost me nothing. I had the orange and green paint from my Halloween sign, I had the corks and I had the paper that I cut out, oh, and the blocks came from our scrap pile in the garage. Like most everything I do, I am not 100% in love with these, but there is room for a lot of improvement on them if I want to fix them up a little.
My grandma crocheted the pumpkins that are surrounding this sign. I have a bunch in the front window of the house too. I really love them and was super excited when she agreed to mail me some. And well there you have it folks. Days 6, done!
