I really enjoy making cards and sending hand written letters to my friends and family. I don't do it nearly as much as I would like, but doesn't mean I still don't like doing it. I wrote last October about my birthday box where I organize all my peeps by their birth month and then mail them cards for their b-days. Again, I am not great and doing this, I miss months, but I do try so that is something right?
I am trying to get better at this and will be trying VERY hard to stay on it come January.
In the mean time, I pulled out my circular cutters that I haven't used in ages, used some paper I picked up on clearance, and whipped this up:
What do you think? Do you still send out hand written cards/letters? Do you think the written word is dead?

ReplyDeleteYour card displayed very creative thinking on your part. Good Going. I do NOT think a written word is gone, nor should it be. I tend to write large, so some times I type a note and insert it into a hand made card and sign my name. That way I can say more in a small amount of space, but it is still a hand made card and has my signature. I think some hero's loved one will really love receiving this one.

ReplyDeleteI love this card! It's gorgeous. While I don't make my own cards, I collect them and have drawers full. Every month, we send out a stack of cards to various people. Sometimes I write notes, sometimes the girls draw pictures instead. I love getting mail, so I make sure everyone in my life (and people who aren't in my life) gets mail.
ReplyDeleteI love the concept of this card - so creative! Thank you so much for playing along with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
