And we are back!

I hope that everyone enjoyed the holidays as much as I did.  I really do love Christmas!  This weekend I am going to post a recap of our holiday with our projects, presents and good times.  I will also do a end of the 25 Days recap as well.  And don't forget, I will be posting my list of 2013 resolutions, which I will probably ditch by the end of January.

In the mean time, I am working on my house.  Since Thanksgiving it's taken a turn for the worst and things are just piling up everywhere, things are disorganized and instead of being messy, things are getting dirty.  Now with the addition of the Christmas chaos, I feel like TLC's Hoarders will be at my door any day now (ok it's not that bad, but I feel like it).

There are now four days left of 2012, and I am spending them doing some well needed deep cleaning.

To keep me in line, I made a list...

Already, I am slightly behind.  I only got our master bathroom completed yesterday.  Our master bedroom is almost done, I just need to finish folding clothes and changing the sheets.  And the kitchen...I am feeling defeated in the kitchen.  I don't feel like I will ever get it as clean as it once was, but today, I am going to try.

Today I am busting my butt to get 5 rooms done.  This weekend we will put away our Christmas decor and Lucy and I will finish sorting through her toys before adding in all the new stuff that she got.

I am excited to get my house back and to start feeling like I have a little bit of a grasp of things again.  I would like to get back to where all I was doing was following the kids with a broom and dust pan, because lately it feels like I am following one kid, while the other is trailing behind wrecking everything I just cleaned.

So do any of you have a "end of the year" list?  What are you doing to prepare?
