January, we had Dexter. Re-reading his birth story just brought back so many sweet memories (and the realization that HOLY CRAP, I am going to have a one year old soon).
We started cloth diapering, which we have kept up with the exception of when he is teething and he gets bad poops and I don't feel like washing *those* diapers.
A few days after D-money was born, we found out we were moving to Seattle, which is when we went from just Sowdering About, to Sowdering About in Seattle. Holy crap as this move been A-MAZING! We absolutely love it here.
I decided in October to start taking my blogging a little more seriously and joined the Nester in a 31 day challenge where I did 31 days of crafting. It was hard, but I did it!
My number one viewed post is still reigning in with my Halloween Door Statue, which I find to be pretty impressive! It still is my favorite craft that I have done to date.
I pulled off probably the best Thanksgiving dinner ever.
And we had an A-MAZING Christmas even though we weren't with our families this year
What can you expect from me in 2013? A few things.
First thing, weekly menus are changing. We are starting up weight watchers and so my menus will be made up of a lot of healthier recipes, which will also be nothing short of amazing. I am also going to start including breakfast and lunch menus too, since, without really planning our breakfasts or lunches, Lucy and I have just been eating cereal and leftovers or snacks. Now that Dexter is pretty much completely on solids, I have to make sure we are eating to include him too.
Next, I am starting to read again. In 2010, I made a goal to read 100 books, and I exceded that goal and read 115 books. I will be updating my books reviews on my book blog and I am so excited to get back into reading. I really miss it.
Crafts will be at least once a week. Once a week I will post a craft, a card and a scrapbook page. I need to limit this to just once a week since I link up with a lot of crafty sites and it's too hard to link up multiple posts each week.
Once a week, I am going to post something "green" related. I like to call what I do the "Anti-green" because I do this stuff because I like it. I like making my own stuff, I don't do it to prove anything to anyone (except cloth diapering since everyone said I wouldn't follow through with it).
Wednesdays will still be Wordless Wednesday (pictures only). Thursdays will still be Lucy-isms, which will start including "Rantings of Red" as soon as homie starts talking. And most weekends I will be taking off to be with the old family.
I really cannot wait for 2013! I feel a wind of greatness in the air and cannot wait to share this year with all of you!
Let that "Wind" blow U to the fone once in while and call your Daddd....
