Sitting on the edge of your seat...

It's been a little bit since I have posted a craft.  This will change next week.  I have a tutorial also that I will be posting.  I have a long long list of things that need to be done and not a lot of time left to do them.  And by that I mean I have a huge long list of things I need to get done by DEXTER'S FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!

OMG, where did this last year go?!?!?  It's crazy!

He still hates haircuts.  Like with a burning fiery passion.  

I will tell you, we have never really done "themed" parties.  I have nothing against a theme, but we just never felt they were necessary for us.  And originally, that is what we were going to do with Dexter's party...just invite all our friends and family, hold it at the park, serve some cake and ice cream, and just have a good time.

And then Pinterest came along.

Good old Pinterest.

All it took was one pin.  One silly little pin of a cake that was decorated as a monster and my whole world was blown upside down.  I immediately needed to make Dexter's party monster themed.  I flipped on the old Cricut and started cutting my little heart out.  But I realized that I didn't have a "monster" cartridge, but I had robot and alien ones.  So I cut those out.  And I hand cut monster faces for masks because there will be a photo booth.

And then some people on one of my discussion boards posted a banner they made, and I needed to make a banner.

I know it sounds like that I am being a follower, but the problem that happened was that seeing these pictures, getting these inspirations, the creative flame was lit and it will not be extinguished until I finish.  It's an itch that has to be scratched.

And this is how I have a list of NEVER ENDING PROJECTS.
