This week's menu



I have been working really hard sticking to a basic weight watcher menu.  I have been using My Fitness Pal to track my calories, and I have drastically cut them.  Dexter is eating more calories than me most days.  Now, don't get me wrong, I am still eating, but I am just being smart about it.  I quit drinking soda, and where as I don't get to the YMCA as often as I would like, we have been going on hikes and getting exercise where we can.

With all of this, since Jan 1, I am down 6.5 lbs.  I might be down a tad more but the batteries died on my scale and until I get the new ones delivered, I won't know.  But yaay for 6.5 lbs right??

I am sticking true to my menu this week, I think the most challenging will be our Vegas vacation in two weeks.  It's not because "it's Vegas and everyone eats buffets" since when you live there, you don't eat buffets often at all, but it's because all our family is there and when you get together with family, you tend to eat.  So I just have to try and not snack on everything in sight.  It's going to be hard since my grandma-in-law makes the best chocolate gravy in life.  I need to drop the pounds now so I have some to spare haha.

Also, I signed up for a round of Biggest Loser with my local mom's group and so far, due to my diligence, I am in first place!  I just need to keep it up! (I feel like I am a broken record here...)


Now to the plan (I feel like Gina from SkinnyTaste owes me like some sort of prize for the crazy amount of linking back I am doing to her site lately haha)

  • cucumber/avocado salad (I tend to eat the same thing every day for lunch until it makes me sick)
  • Crockpot sante fe chicken (I probably won't do it in the crockpot though)

  2. (Second trying at posting).....Goto the Doc's and get a cholesterol test....Then go again in another six mos....U will see a good chg.....I am trying to keep my "Widow-Maker clear and it's the only test that I can pass!!!!
