Just Between Friends: A Review

I am going to share a secret with you guys tonight.  Are you ready?  You have to keep it a secret.  Promise?

I love to shop.

I love it.  I love everything about shopping.  I love searching for the perfect [insert whatever it is I am looking for].  I particularly love shopping for my kids.  I love finding fabulous deals.  I love seeing them dressed far better than I ever will be.

This is why the Just Between Friends sale is so perfect for me.  JBF is a huge seasonal consignment sale that happens twice a year in a few different townships in the Seattle Metropolitan area.  I was lucky enough to go to the one in Lynnwood this year and because I promised to write a blog about my experience I got in during their pre pre sale (I like to say I got in on a special "press" pass because it makes me feel more important).  Anyway, I digress.

So I took a quick trip north and loaded the kids up in the stroller and set off to search and hunt for the best deals around.  And oh the madness.  I was in awe, there was so much stuff to be looked at, so much to buy...

Now before Matt reads this and panics thinking I bought everything I saw, I didn't.  I did take a quick walk around to take pictures of the amazingness of it all.  I did reminisce back to the days when I used to go to these sales in Las Vegas while pregnant searching for clothes and designer diapers bags.  But those days are over for me.  What is left is very opinionated [almost] five year old and a snot nosed red head.
I headed over to the size 6 clothes, which unfortunately, was only half the row of clothes.  Lucy is now at the age where kids destroy their clothes faster than you can buy them.  Fortunately for me, I got there early enough that I was able to get first pick [neener neener neener].  I found some great deals and amazing clothes for Lucy.  She is going to be stylin' this summer.  Same for Dexter.  Boy clothes aren't as much fun as girl clothes, but he will be lookin' good too.

I didn't get a picture of the toy section mainly because after about an hour of shopping, the kids had had their fill.  I headed to the check out stand and checked out for $110.  Not bad if you ask me.  Just check out my spoils:

I will add that 98% of the stuff I bought was GAP, Gymboree and Polo brand.

Now, if you got this far, I am offering my readers a free pass to the sale this weekend in Lynnwood!  Just click on the picture, print it out and head on over there.  The sale is going on until Saturday, March 23rd at 3:30 which is also their 50% off day (for most items).  So go.  And buy everything.

  1. Ahhhh!! I so wish I could go this weekend. :( I have no time between now and when it ends. Is this a yearly thing? It looks fantastic.

Leave me some love! I read them all and it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy when people comment!
