A pull box

Ever realize you left a box of kleenex or a pack of wipes out, only to find that your toddler has emptied the entire package all over the floor?

Well after running into that problem for the third time in one week, I threw in the towel with this kid. I grabbed my tote of fabric and cut about 25 pieces of scraps shoved them into an old wipes case and gave it to him.

He was busy with it for almost and hour.  AN HOUR PEOPLE.
When he had pulled all the fabric out, he put it all back in himself and then pulled it out again.
Rinse, lather repeat.  For an HOUR.  Did you hear that properly?

Apparently, Lucy thought this was the most fun game ever and she had to play too.
But seriously.  Go right now, grab an old wipes container and stuff it full of fabric scraps.  The entertainment is endless.

  1. Just give the kid some REAL Kleenex!!!

  2. Ha! We did this with M for the SAME reason. M, however, does not put the fabric back into the wipe container. We have to do it. So, we only get about 30 seconds of her "busy" and then she's tugging on our leg to load them back it. Maybe Dex can teach her a thing or two!

  3. Great Idea! I am visiting from Home Sweet Home.

  4. I've been meaning to do this. P loves to sit and pull all the wipes out of the case if she can get her little hands on them!

  5. My little one would enjoy this! She loves pulling things out of and putting things back in containers. I'd be thrilled if you'd link up at this week's Off the Hook!

  6. Cute! Thank you for sharing this at Rustic Restorations Weekend.

Leave me some love! I read them all and it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy when people comment!
