I love you to PIECES; a Mother's Day craft

Two weeks ago, I shared with you my Mother's Day ladybugs that I made with the kids.  I'd like to say that I look at those ladybugs every time I walk in and out of my house and gaze at them in lovingly wonder at how great my kids are and what amazing people they will turn into, and how I have these wonderful creations to remind me of their innocence.

I would love to say that.

But truth is, Lucy and her friend started playing with them and now I have no idea where they are.

Maybe one day, I will be gardening and come across them and I will smile and remember these days.

In the mean time though, I came up with another project.  One that I can put up high enough that I can still see it every day, but that the kids can't reach.

I picked up these frames for $1 each at the local hobby store and picked up a colorful puzzle and voila.

The little sign "I love you to PIECES!" I printed and then just cut down.

So, I made these myself, I know, I made my own Mother's Day gift.  But really, I made these as the example because I am hosting a craft day with my mom's group and their kids.  So aaaaaaall the moms are making their own assisting their kids in their projects.

Plus side of these, they have magnets on the back, which I didn't realize until I started glueing magnets to them.  So I took my magnets off and just went with what was already there.

Yea well, I have my moments.

Hope you enjoy these!

  1. These are great! I've been wondering what I should do for my mom...from my son. (Can you imagine giving my mom a picture of my grown self for mother's day in one of these? LOL) Thanks for the idea!
