31 Days of Hot Yoga

I started doing yoga recently.  It's hot yoga.  And it's HOT.
You would think that coming from Las Vegas that I would be done and finished with the heat.  And I am.  But there is something absolutely incredible and amazing about how you feel while you are doing hot yoga and of course, the additionally amazing feeling you feel after.

Have I mentioned it's amazing?

There is a calming feeling while I am doing yoga in the heat.  My mind is focused.  More focused than any other time during the day.  When I am doing hot yoga, it's the only thing I think of, my mind doesn't wander to what I did that day, what I am doing the next day or all the things I am working on.  I am focused.  Only on the yoga.  It's incredible.

So I am committing to do hot yoga for 31 days straight.  I'll be taking pictures periodically of my progress, but I will be posting a picture on Instagram almost daily of something I am doing in the studio.  I am hoping to get pictures of some of my poses too.  On top of posting pictures, I will go over the process I am going through and the life changing experience that is going to happen.

I can't wait to share this experience with you!

  1. Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word 'Yuj' which means to unite. In its core essence, yoga means bringing our mind and body in the state of harmony with the super consciousness. The immediate goals of yoga are achieving a healthy body and mind, while the higher purpose is self realization.
