This Week's Menu

Well we survived the first week of school.  It was a busy one to say the least.  But we survived.  This week we are focusing more on getting a routine going, getting Lucy back to her daily chores and settling into our new "life."

Lucy decided to drop karate from her schedule which is sad for me because she is doing sooooooo good, but I let her decide and she said "mommy, I quit."  She has to finish out this belt promotion and then we say good-bye for now.  Replacing karate is ballet.  And to make things a little extra difficult, ballet and karate are on the same day.  ::headdesk::

In addition to our extra curricular activities schedule, I am helping out a friend on Wednesdays and picking her daughter up from school.  In "payment" she signed the girls up for soccer, so Wednesday is soccer day.

And then don't forget girl scouts.  I am in the middle of my training to run the troop.

Basically if I thought last week was busy, I was obviously not thinking about the future.  It's going to be crazy.  But I can't freaking wait.

Having a plan is going to be super important this school year because trying to scramble at the last minute won't do.  Now on to this week's menu.

Wednesday
B-oatmeal
L-PB&J
D-going out

Thursday
B-cinnamon rolls
L-PB&J
D-chicken and bacon feta mac&cheese 

Friday
B-pancakes
L-leftovers
D-pizza

Saturday
B-Starbucks breakfast
L-leftovers
D-fondue (Saturday is turning into fondue night!)

Sunday
B-pancakes bacon and eggs
L-sandwiches
D-leftovers (if there are any left that is!)
