This PVC pipe challenge has been just that, a challenge. I had an entire list that I had planned for this series. I had a whole plan. I had been working on it since April of this year. APRIL.
I am not sure why, but I ended up scrapping the second half of my month of my plans. And then my birthday was here and my mom came and then I got behind 10 days in posts. I had some great ideas for the second half of October's challenge. And eventually you might actually get to see them. But, for now, I am kinda back at the drawing boards.
However, for anyone that might know me, the drawing boards are never empty on my desk, which is how I came up with this next project.
I had some 4" PVC laying around. As well as an extra end cap. What to do, what to do...
Make a "BOO" sign of course. I mean, wouldn't you do the same?
To decorate them, I wrapped them like crazy with washi tape. Washi tape makes everything better doesn't it? I like to think so.
The end cap that I used needed a little something more, so I filled it full of googly eyes. Because, the only thing better than washi tape is googly eyes.
And last but not least, I set them up on my faux mantle and snapped some pictures. One might ask, where do I put all these things I make, well, this particular sign is taking up residency on my work desk on one of my new shelves. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen the debut of those earlier this weekend.
I am loving my BOO sign! And if you are looking for more info on my faux mantle, check back tomorrow for how I made it!
