The Week's Menu

Another week, another menu.

Friday, I get my gallbladder out.  Fun right?  Sure, lets go with that.

I wish I could say this week I was eating out every night and indulging in all the fiiiiiiine foods that I won't be able to eat for a while after, but alas, I will not be.

It's funny, prior to finding out I had gallstones, I never paid much attention to the irritations I felt after eating.  Now, I know exactly what the discomfort is, exactly when it will start and I cannot wait to be rid of it all.

Aside from my surgery, nothing much else has been going on.  It's been a little dull around these parts.  I hope it will continue to be pretty uneventful until mid-April.  I have been working on all the decor for Lucy's 6th birthday party lately, and I cannot wait to share them all when I am done.  Keep a look out on Instagram for sneak previews!

I also decided to join up with my friend Amy over at One Artsy Mama to help her celebrate her 3 year blogging anniversary!  Whoa, we've been blogging about the same amount of time (at least for me publicly) and I am so proud to see what she has done with her blog, she is really amazing!

I'll blow smoke signals out the window from the burning of whatever Matt makes.  Send back up.
(I keed I keed.  During the week I plan on making a bunch of freezer meals for my family to eat while I am laid up recouping.  I am far too nice.  I know.)

  1. (I love Corned Beef and Cabbage!!!!!)...........Since it's the food causing this Gall Bladder business, it begs the question, "Do U take the husks off of the tamales?"..........
