Now that I am feeling a bit more like myself, I decided it was time for me to join this month's Silhouette Challenge. This month's theme is Patriotic, and when I saw the Silhouette cut file in the store the other day, I knew it needed to be in my life. So I tossed around a few ideas and decided to do a small (or large) redo of an older project.
Remember last year when I made the little wooden fire crackers for Fourth of July decor? They are super cute right? Well this year, I decided it was time to go big or go home. I took the idea of the little wooden firecrackers and went BIG!
Supplies
- 4x4 wood posts, I cut mine into three random sizes
- Spray paint
- Vinyl
- Silhouette
- Thin floral wire
- Hot glue
After cutting my wood, I spray painted them. When the paint was dry, I cut out the image on my Silhouette and then strategically placed them on the wood.
I took the floral wire and wrapped it around a pen so that I could curl it. I hot glued the wire to the tops and TADA! they were done. I tossed them on my door step with a fun USA wooden sign and fell in crafty love!
How are you decorating for the Fourth?
