This Week's Menu

The spiders are getting completely out of control here in the PNW.  I walked right into a spider web on Monday.  The spider was still on it.  It made me freak out throw all my stuff and my entire week was off because of it.  It's silly that such a small thing totally ruined my day, but it did.

Since that incident, I have been seeing them everywhere.  And that is mostly because they are everywhere.  It's enough to make me want to hide in my house forever.

This week I went over a 6 week menu plan by Miss Freddy.  It's a really great system!  It's perfect for busy working families and the fact that it's six weeks of meals and recipes, then you don't get tired of you meals!  Casey has done an amazing job with her meal guide!  I feel like this is something I needed in my life about 3 years ago when I was working in an office for 9 hours a day.   You really should try it out, and for $10, you can't really go wrong.

I feel like her menu plan is a sorta guide for me when I try planning my own.  I do find a deep enjoyment in picking meals to make each week and I like to experiment a lot in the kitchen. You might have seen a little bit of a pattern with my meals over the last few weeks...Monday has mostly been meatless, we do Taco Tuesday, Wednesday I've been trying to make be some sort of asian dish, Thursday something fun, Friday pizza, Saturday and Sunday have been a little more in-depth or have been left overs.  I really enjoy cooking, I really do.

So, without further ado, here is what I've got planned for this week!

Monday - mushroom ravioli with the sauce from this recipe
Tuesday - shirmp fajitas
Wednesday - orange chicken
Thursday - French onion soup, I even have her same bowls!
Friday - homemade pizza
Saturday - leftovers
Sunday - BLTs with sweet potato fries

This week's lunch ideas:
