Mini Halloween Statue

I loved my Halloween door statue so much, I decided I needed another one, but smaller!  And actually, when my best friend saw the big statue she hinted demanded, she have her own.

And you know, she's my bestie and all, so there really wasn't a way to say no!

I took a piece of 1.5x1.5 piece of wood and cut it into a few smaller pieces.  The pumpkin is about two inches tall, the Frankenstein is about 4 inches tall, the witch the same and the ghost is about 2.5 inches tall.  The base came from, you guessed it, my scrap wood pile and it's about a foot long and 2.5 inches wide.

For the pumpkin, I used a Silhouette cut file for the face and like my "Give Thanks" wooden blocks from two years ago, I used a green push pin for the stem.

For the Frankenstein, I used another Silhouette cut file and some plain clear thumb tacks for the bolts that I spray painted silver.

My gal the witch here, she also has a Silhouette cut face.  I cut some strips of yarn for her hair that I hot glued on.  And then her hat, I looked everywhere for a small hat and couldn't find one, so I cut this one from my Silhouette too!

And the ghost, well, you guessed it! I cut his face out with my Silhouette too!

The base is wrapped in just a strip of washi tape and everything is hot glued together!

I mean how stinking cute is this thing?  I am just loving it!  And to my bestie...I am not sure this one is going to make it to you, I might have to keep it for myself!
