Water Wipes; a review #sponsored

This post is sponsored by WaterWipes and Mommy Bag Marketing.  Although I received product and financial compensation, all opinions are entirely my own.

Having two kids basically completely out of diapers does not mean that the amount of wipes we use is reduced in our house.  For me, wipes have never been "just for bums," they've been for wiping faces, tables, floors, taking off my makeup, keeping them in my purse, cleaning my car...

Yes, I said cleaning my car.  I use wipes to clean my console and doors.  Don't judge.  There are days when I have to pick Matt up from the park and ride a town over and usually we get there early.  On those days, I use the wipes in the car to clean up the ridiculous amounts of spilled coffee from my center console.  I also use it to clean off what.ever.it.is the kids have done to their doors, to the ceiling of my car and to their car seats.

I tend to feel like the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding... "Put some Windex," except instead of Windex, I use wipes.

When I was approached to do a review on WaterWipes, I was intrigued, because not only do I use wipes for ev-er-y-thing, my kids also have my sensitive skin, so I can't just use any wipes, I have to use the super sensitive skin ones.  With WaterWipes, they are simply just that, water and a splash of essential oils.  These natural baby wipes are perfect for our family because they do the job of a "regular" wipe but without all the harsh chemicals!  And that helps prevent diaper rashes too!

A few tidbits of info on WaterWipes:

  • Most baby wipes contain harsh chemicals, even those that are labeled eco-friendly or organic.
  • WaterWipes are the only baby wipes containing absolutely no chemicals.
  • WaterWipes can be used by anyone with sensitive skin: babies, toddlers, teens or adults!

The other thing that I like about WaterWipes is that if you get to a point where they dry out...I mean, everyone has that one pack of wipes that falls behind the dresser or under the seat of your car and it, of course, is open when it goes to hide.  Because WaterWipes are made out of water, all you have to do is add water to make them great again.  Fancy that, right?

WaterWipes have quickly replaced all other wipes in our house.  I like that they don't have a smell, because even the scent free wipes still have a scent.  I like that clean everything as well as they do, I was skeptical at first, I won't lie, but they have proved themselves time and time again.  I also like that after using them on my hands, I don't feel that sticky residue that I normally feel with my regular wipes.

I didn't think I would be able to write a super strong review on wipes, I mean, they are wipes right? Not curing world peace.  But really, sometimes, those battles you face at home with constant rashes and reactions are equally as frustrating as curing world peace, so if you can win those battles, there is nothing that can stop you!

One other tip you should know about WaterWipes that was not included in our informational packet...WaterWipes, like all other wipes, are not flushable.  I caught my hubs flushing them after cleaning up Dexter.  He thought because they were 99% water that they were like camping TP and would break down in the sewers.  This is incorrect, so please please please don't flush them.  Most plumbing systems are not capable of handling large objects being flushed and they will back up your systems.
